Mully

~DOB: 4/1/2021

Weight: 20 pounds

Energy Level: Moderate

Overall Drive: Moderate

Location: Vancouver, WA

Mully is a 4-year-old Schipperke with a zest for life and a love for the outdoors. He enjoys long walks or hikes and exploring new terrain with his people. Mully is neutral when it comes to people and other neutral dogs. He has healthy respect for cats and their claws. This energetic little guy is on the lookout for an active family with experience in handling spitz breeds. He’s ready to be your loyal companion on all your adventures, whether it’s a stroll in the park or a trek through the mountains.

Mully needs to be placed with an adult-only family, as he is not suited for a home with children because he has developed some resource guarding behaviors, particularly around his food, and may be prone to nipping if he feels threatened. He is also known to resource guard laps that he is in! As such, he will thrive in a home where his boundaries are respected, and consistent training can help him continue to feel secure. He has had zero problems in his foster home but does have a history worth noting.

Mully is fully crate trained and enjoys being an inside dog. He is fully housebroken and has never had an accident inside. In fact, he even rings bells when he needs to go outside—talk about smart!

If you’re looking for a curious, active, and intelligent dog who will be a devoted companion, Mully might just be the perfect fit for you. He’s ready to join a spitz type experienced family that can provide him with the attention, training, and outdoor adventures he loves!
