Kiva
Female
~1yr
50 pounds
Say hello to Mora, the first doggie Feng Shui expert!
This girl is all about making a comfortable space for you and the family, if it doesn’t look good on the countertop then onto the floor it must go! She loves her people, toys, treats, and to be in the center of ALL of the action when outside. Kiva is incredibly smart, affectionate, high energy, and a bit stubborn. She loves a good challenge and will need a handler able to keep her mind active. In playgroup at the shelter she prefers dogs with a gentle and softer engagement style. She does like to herd her dog pals and can be a bit mouthy when excited, so a home free of young kids is likely best.
When she initially arrived at the shelter, she was too frightened to move and had to be carried so further work on building her confidence is needed. She has made great strides and now walks nicely by your side.

Fenwick
Male
~3yrs
Fenwick is a gorgeous goofball with a permanent ear hat and the best silly grin!
He’s a moderate-energy & drive pup who lives for a good game of keep away. He knows sit and shake, but needs some leash training—he’s just a little too excited about life! He ignores horses, is eager to engage with other dogs, and would thrive in a foster home that can give him both physical exercise and mental fun. Ready to help this sweet boy shine?

Renzo
Male
~1yr
65 pounds
Renzo is not only stunningly handsome but he’s also so funny to watch. He will freeze and just stare out at nothing then have a huge burst of energy and get the zoomies. He knows a few commands like sit and down and does them very nicely. At the shelter he was in playgroups with a mix and mingle male and playful females. He does have some herding tendencies when playing with other dogs but loves doing zoomies around and around while chasing or being chased.
This big goober likes to hop around like a bunny with a big goofy smile on his face and will keep you laughing. Renzo will need an active home that can provide the physical and mental stimulation he needs. Slow and controlled introductions to other dogs is best as he can be nervous initially but really wants to engage. Renzo does best when crated in the car and can take a bit to settle into the drive. Can you be the one who gets him started off on the right paw for her new family to come?

Lester
Male
~1yr
56#
This poor boy came into the shelter with a deeply embedded collar and had to wear a neck bandage for the first month he was there. With his outstanding personality, he was able to tolerate bandage changes with some bribery in the form of hot dogs.
Now that he is healing, his busy side is coming out and with his desire to please and level of food motivation he should be super fun to train. Once he gets to know you, he may even dance for his favorite ball or a handful of tasty treats. He did well in shelter playgroups with easy going male and female dogs, got a little playful with the female once he was comfortable. He may likely enjoy a dog friend to pal around with in the home.
Lester will need a calm and chaos free, but active home who can provide him with the physical and mental stimulation he needs to be set up for a lifetime of success.
