Tyler is a lively and intelligent Malinois/German Shepherd mix looking for an adopter who can keep up with his energetic nature and strong drive. He thrives on routine and boundaries, making him a great companion for someone who appreciates structure. Tyler loves his crate—he runs into it eagerly when it's time for meals and shows solid crate manners.

While Tyler is an all-around good boy who handles correction well and enjoys basic obedience training (especially when treats are involved!), he does need an adopter who can keep him on track. Tyler has high prey drive and isn't suited for homes with small animals or cats. He’s also prone to getting overstimulated or reactive if boundaries aren't maintained, but with the right guidance, he's quick to settle. Tyler prefers a home without children.

 

Tyler has great threshold manners, especially when coming out of the crate, but they can slip if not reinforced consistently. When he's bored, he may dig a hole in the yard, but he doesn't chew on blankets in his crate. He's been making steady progress with basic obedience, and he's highly food-motivated, making training sessions both fun and productive!

Transport along Interstate 5 (Rowland Heights, CA to Edmonds, WA) is available but cost not included in adoption fee.
